We are always on the lookout for great resources for professional women, and are excited to share one of our newest finds.
We are excited to introduce you to Affinite Magazine by Sashi Whitman.
Sashi Whitman, Editor of Affinite, a free digital online magazine, was recently introduced to us by a mutual resource. We had a chance to speak with Sashi to learn more about her and Affinite and are thrilled to introduce you to this unique resource.
Affinite is a digital online magazine focused on being a resource for Christian professional women. Sashi launched the magazine in mid 2014 with the goal of helping to create relevant connections, provide professional and personal resources, and support for working women with families. The concept came about when Sashi was speaking to several of her closest girlfriends, all experiencing multiple issues ranging from raising kids going through middle and high school, friends going through separation and divorce, and women trying to figure out their next career move—not only one that would fit their financial needs, but a career that would make their heart sing.
Sashi knew that there were several existing organizations in San Diego that could help her friends, and other women, going through similar struggles and challenges, and she wanted them to know about these resources. She also knew that if there were one place for women to share their story and for women to reach out and connect, that a resource-based magazine site would be the ideal platform. Affinite has that goal, and achieves this through monthly blogs and a resource list that can be reached on any device with internet access.
Sashi and Affinite share our mission at WealthChoice to empower women through education, encourage collaboration with one another, and effect positive change in the lives of women and those we care about. We encourage you to explore the Affinite website and blogs and add it to your list of helpful resources for women professionals.
